  Moving on as a programmer

Working at the new company has been really good so far. I've been working on a lot of different things and it's enjoyable learning more about programming in C# and with ASP.NET 2.0 and trying to implement their AJAX solutions. Yesterday I figured some stuff out and then the power at the company went out and I'm not sure if I saved my work or not but we'll see when I go in on Monday or Tuesday.

Today though, I moved out of little programming land and stepped up to the bigger arena I believe. I have now pretty much reached the limitations of what the Express editions of the free Microsoft IDE's can do. This weekend I've been attempting to devise ways to create server controls in the express editions and apparently it's not permitted. Before this I've been able to to most of the small programming projects I need in those pieces of software and intermix it with 2005 whenever nessecary but now I need to get the regular edition. Hopefully I can get a copy from work for my home PC.
